Today is leaving day for Miya and Oscar. The kittens are so ready to go and I know they have gone to wonderful homes but parting with such wonderful amazing little kittens is a little overwhelming. I always feel a little out of step on leaving day, just don't quite know what to do with myself. The new owners are both wonderful couples and I know the kittens will be spoilt rotten, far more than I ever could and it is so lovely to see the joy in the new families but it is still a very bitter sweet day.
It is not only leaving day but "birth" day as well. Misnk had 4 little kittens this morning. All look well but Minsk is struggling a little and needs some encouragement to look after babies. Hopefully all will be well but I will have to weigh and watch Minsks' kittens closely until she gets the hang of motherhood.
